They are so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are feeling better!
Do I get the whole so many ideas, so little time problem, or what? At least you baked something. I get bogged down in all the ideas. Those red chips are pretty cute and I've never seen anything like them. They look great in those cookies, though...
ReplyDeleteThese look SO tasty. Yum. There are few things I like paired better with chocolate than cherries!
ReplyDeleteChip, chip, hooray!!!
ReplyDeletelooks pretty fantabulous, Em...
I'm so glad you're feeling frisky!
Have you ever seen blueberry chips? I'd go for those!
Everything is better in French.

I could see how those chips might not be the best tasting. . .I feel like I bought something similar once. . .and thought the same, they were kind of flimsy and chalkish. . .I just can't remember. I bet these would be good with those raspberry swirl chips, that I've only seen Christmas 2006.
ReplyDeleteCherry chips?! With chocolate!?! Yum!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen or heard of cherry chips before but I love the combo of cherries and chocolate, looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteWow - I don't think I've ever seen cherry chips before. The contrast with the chocolate looks great. I'll have to keep an eye out for them.
ReplyDeletewow, those are some really red chips!
ReplyDeleteglad you are feeling better, these cookies look sinfully delicious!
Those look delicious and gorgeous. I love tart cherries in sweet cookies.
ReplyDeleteOh lord you get a lot of comments. I am so happy you're back to good health, Em. I just know it's the soup I was thinking of making you.
ReplyDeleteYay for cherry chips and feeling better! May you be able to bake to your heart's content and not get sick again (like me).
ReplyDeleteOMG! I saw these and went to chocolate heaven. They don't sell cherry chippers here (as far as I know), but I bet that glace or dried cherries would sub in well. YUM!
ReplyDeleteSO thrilled that you're feeling better - it's always nice to be back to one's ol' better, healthier self :0)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness gracious, cherry chips??? Now THAT is just too cool - especially since they make those already-scrumptious-sounding/-looking cookies even MORE tantalizing!! yum!!
Coolio! Great colour contrast and oh so choco-good!
ReplyDeleteThese would make ME feel much better and I'd lift a couch for them in no time. :)
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to play with chocolate and cherries. These look so good. I wonder how dried cherries would work with this?
ReplyDeleteI am glad you are feeling better. I did also felt like I could take over the world when my flu went away :D
ReplyDeleteAnd those cookies... WOW double chocolate, chip-cherry. You have me drooling over my monitor here :D
I have never seen cherry chips before.I must say that they look pretty in the chocolate chips cookies. Glad that you are feeling better :)
ReplyDeleteI've never seen cherry chips on our side of the country. I love the idea.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, those chips are like nuclear red! Crazy!! What do they taste like??
ReplyDeleteEmiline your cookies look incredibly delicious and if I could get hold of cherry chips I'd likely bake a batch over the weekend!
ReplyDeletedoesn't it feel good to feel good?
ReplyDeleteI love the picture in the bag. It made me giggle. I felt just like a cherry chip
Glad you are feeling better and back to baking again!
ReplyDeleteThose chips are so scarily red, but I have to admit they look smashing in the chocolatey cookies.
ReplyDeleteLook so good. I have never see such a delicious cookie.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty hue of red. It brings out the deep dark goodness of the chocolate.
ReplyDeleteCherry chips sound strange but the cookie was a good idea! Looks great too. I'm glad you feel better, I wish I was feeling better :(
ReplyDeleteI've never seen cherry chips! The color is phenomenal!!!! I just love red so you know I'm lovin' your photo of the whole pile of them.
ReplyDeleteCindy at Rosehaven Cottage
Those are so unbelievably sexy looking that I nearly just peed my pants. OK, not *actually* but I wanted to say how intensely awesome these sound and look!
ReplyDeleteEmiline, I think these are going to be a perfect addition to our red carpet celebration, don't you? I mean, you will bring them - won't you? :)
ReplyDeleteHonestly, they are gorgeous, but I've tried the flavored chips and I don't think I want to be a cherry chip anytime soon. To be so gorgeous, they should taste better, don't you think? It's like a brussel sprout, they look so cool and taste so . . . not good. Good thing you saved them with your amazing chocolate-ness.
You've been busy, it's nice to feel like your ol' self again, I bet! Happy kitchen dance for you!
yep I did it, it was all me...

ReplyDeleteThat's excellent that you feel better. I love that you make cookies to celebrate your return to good health. What is it with these people that eat salads or healthy stuff? Forget that!
ReplyDeleteJudging from how you described them, I might not give these cookies with those chips to the very young or very old or anyone with an immune deficiency disease. That red food coloring will get you everytime.
Thanks everyone!
ReplyDeleteCat- Blueberry? Do they exist?
Amy- Yeah, they're not too great by themselves.
Glamah- Dried cherries would be great! I would prefer that. Dried cherries are about $5 here. So...I'm too cheap.
Dana- They taste like artificial cherry flavor.
Angie- I'm looking forward to our Oscar celebration!
Sue- I've been eating soup the last couple of days, so these cookies taste really good to me.
Yay! Your feeling better and your chipper cookies look fabulous! What a great idea and delicious pictures =D
ReplyDeleteShandy

ReplyDeleteEmiline, do you have *any* idea how tempting those pictures are?! Actually, you probably do, since you took them and baked the little beasties, too. :)
ReplyDeleteThose cookie look so good! I like the little red chips in the dark chocolate cookies. The melted chocolate ships are also really nice. Great photos!
ReplyDeleteHave you tried the limited edition Wild Cherry M&Ms?
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling better. Those chips were a little disturbing, but in a good way.
ReplyDeleteWow Emiline, you are fully recovered... Great!!! Could you send me some of the medicine you took? It seems to work great! You are so full of energy and these Chips are soooooo beautiful :D
ReplyDeleteI have never seen cherry chips before. If I ever do find them anywhere, I'm making these right away, thank you for the recipe!
