I know I'm way behind on my blog reading, but I'll catch up soon. It's been a busy week so far. I just returned home tonight from my company's Christmas party. It's unlike any company Christmas party you've been to before, I guarantee it. I could definitely tell you stories and stories of past Christmas parties. When you mix a bunch of servers, line cooks and alcohol in the same room, all hell breaks loose.
I'm happy to be home now, blogging in bed. :) I made these Apple Cinnamon-Oatmeal Butterscotch cookies a few days ago, and they are SO good! These cookies are very addicting, so beware. They have cinnamon, oats, apple sauce, toasted pecans, butterscotch chips and dried apples in them.
They would be perfect for a holiday cookie exchange! They're one of my top ten picks... let's take a look at some of my favorite cookies from the past that would be great for an exchange also.
#9 - Oreo Cream Cheese-Swirled Brownies I've gotten some great reviews on these. Who doesn't love Oreos? Oh gosh, they are so delicious.

#8 - Butter Spritz Cookies These are one of my favorites for Christmas. I make them year after year.

#7 - Crumb Topped Blueberry-Lemon Cheesecake Bars I won a prize for creating this recipe a few months ago. They're amazing! Maybe not very seasonal, but who the heck cares? People will love these.

#6 - Chai Snickerdoodles I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on these cookies as well.

#5 - Cinnamon Hazelnut Brownies Cinnamon and hazelnut make me think of Christmas, so these brownies are perfect!

#4 - Monster Cookies Monster cookies are a crowd pleaser. I used this recipe for my cookie exchange last year and they went over well.

#3 - Nutella Hazelnut Cookies Once again, lots of rave reviews on this cookie. I'm surprised at how many people have made these!

#2 - Cannoli Cookies These are Eric's favorite cookie EVER. And he has excellent taste.

#1 - Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies This recipe has been featured on Saveur for a week or so now. What an honor! Chocolate chip cookies are always a winner, and people will go crazy over these.

I hope I have given you some ideas for your next cookie exchange or holiday gathering. You can't go wrong with any of these. If you have any questions, feel free to email me.
Top Chef finale tonight! YESSSSS!
