Nutella S'mores Rice Krispie Treats

Nut4

I'm totally phoning it in with this recipe, I know. But that's okay... I can post super easy recipes, right? Sometimes?

It's Friday! It's the weekend! Let's make some simple rice krispie treats and relax.

Maybe watch a little Millionaire Matchmaker? Maybe have a glass of wine, too?

What kind of wine pairs well with a rice krispie treat?
Don't answer that.

These treats were really tasty, and quick... and you don't have to think a lot to make them.

Steps:
Melt butter and marshmallows.
Stir in rice krispies and graham cracker crumbs.
Press in pan.
Melt chocolate and Nutella; spread over treats.
Cool and slice.

Eat.

Share with friends. Or don't share with friends. It depends on how much you like Nutella, s'mores, and rice krispie treats.

Nutella S'mores Rice Krispie Treats

1/2 cup salted butter or margarine
3/4 bag marshmallows
1 cup ground graham crackers
5 cups crisp rice cereal
3.5 ounces milk chocolate
1/4 cup Nutella

Line a 13x9-inch baking dish with foil; coat foil with cooking spray.

Melt butter and marshmallow in a large saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently. Stir in graham cracker and cereal until well combined; spread into dish.

Melt together milk chocolate and Nutella in a small bowl in the microwave, stirring every 20 seconds until smooth. Spread milk chocolate mixture on top of rice krispie treats. Cool and allow to dry completely before lifting out foil and slicing into bars.

Makes 15 treats

  27. Easy recipes are good sometimes, especially NO BAKE recipes when it's HOT out. I like that you mixed in graham cracker crumbs. I'll have to try that sometime.

  31. Delicious and easy and also delicious. However, I could not get 1/4 cup nutella and 3.5 oz of chocolate to spread over the whole 9X13 pan. I had to double both the chocolate and the nutella. Oh no. too much chocolate. (Can you hear the sarcasm?) Thank you!
