


Count Chocula Brownies

Ingredients:
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 13x9-inch pan with foil; coat foil with cooking spray.
Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat; turn off heat and stir in 2 cups chocolate chips until melted. Add chocolate mixture and pudding mix to a large mixing bowl. Beat until well combined - about 1 minute. Beat in eggs until well combined - about 2 minutes. Beat in sugar and baking soda until well combined. Stir in flour until just combined. Stir in 1 cup cereal and remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips until combined. Spread batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cereal.
Bake 20-25 minutes, or until well risen and crisp around edges. Cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
Makes 15 brownies

- 2 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips, divided use
- 1 large box cook and serve chocolate pudding mix
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups Count Chocula cereal

These look choco-licious! :) I was a hard core lucky charms girl and still am :) These days the kids usual pick out all the marshmallows before I can even poor the milk lol

ReplyDeleteWow these look very indulgant and fudgey. We don't have halloween or special cereals over here, its a shame. I've a cereal fanatic too though and always have lots of boxes on the go
ReplyDeleteI would never think to put cereal in brownies, but why not! These look awesome. I think I got Count Chocula a few times when I was younger...hard to believe it's still around :)
