Nutella Brownies

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 ounces chopped hazelnut chocolate
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.  Spray an 8x8-inch square baking dish with cooking spray.

Beat together melted butter and cocoa powder in a large mixing bowl, using a mixer on medium speed, until well combined.  Beat in sugar and eggs until well combined - about 2 minutes.  Beat in Nutella until combined.  Sift in flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix until just combined.  Mix in chocolate until combined.

Spread batter into prepared pan.  Bake 20 minutes or until well risen and set.  Cool on a wire rack before slicing.

  1. One can never have too many nutella recipes in their arsenal!

  2. These look delicious and very fudgy. I love how you've used hazelnut chocolate as well as nutella. That way you can still crunch down on little bits of nut. Yummy
Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year

  3. I can always use a brownie recipe. I can always use a Nutella recipe too! Merry Christmas to you and your family Emily!

  4. Are you implying that we're supposed to be ready for Christmas already?!? Actually I have another two weeks since we celebrate on January 6th instead of this week. It's so much easier!!

I hope you and Eric have a super Christmas and a wonderful New Year's.
