Lucky you! I need to put myself out there more somehow so I can get freebie food and trips from food companies.

You won't die at 24 of too much waffles and bacon. It will probably take another 20-30 years before that stuff will kill you. Eat up! I am hoping to get my own waffle maker soon so I can make chicken and waffles.

I would so not be able to say something about BJs. You are a stronger woman than I am.

As long as the gremiln didn't rip the engine out of the plane, you should be okay.

Awesome post, Emily! You are way too funny! It was so great to meet you and be "partners in crime" (although I didn't take any almonds LOL ... I would have liked huge amounts of those pistachios though). :-) And, your photos are fantastic! Last, I'm so glad the gremlins didn't actually get us. That airplane glass is amazingly strong, isn't it? ;-)

You are right! The majority of U.S. grown produce comes from the farms, orchards, and vineyards of the Central Valley. Pretty cool! The funny (and sad) thing is that a lot of Californians consider Fresno to be the "armpit" of California because the state has so many other amazing scenery-rich places. Don't know if you knew this, but you were only about 45 minutes south of Yosemite. In those mountains you could see to the east (the Sierra Nevadas) was the place Ansel Adams made famous. Yes... I'm a California girl through and through and I LOVE my state!!!!!!
