The first couple of years that I made them, I even printed out the Madeleine-related passage from the book and attached it to each little bundle of treats. <br /><br />With the clarifying of butter, and the seperating of eggs, and the double boiler, and the difficult to clean scalloped forms, they&#39;re way too fussy for every day baking, and make for an awesome holiday indulgence.
