1/2 cup salted butter or margarine
3/4 bag marshmallows
1 cup ground graham crackers
5 cups crisp rice cereal
3.5 ounces milk chocolate
1/4 cup Nutella
Line a 13x9-inch baking dish with foil; coat foil with cooking spray.
Melt butter and marshmallow in a large saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently. Stir in graham cracker and cereal until well combined; spread into dish.
Melt together milk chocolate and Nutella in a small bowl in the microwave, stirring every 20 seconds until smooth. Spread milk chocolate mixture on top of rice krispie treats. Cool and allow to dry completely before lifting out foil and slicing into bars.
Makes 15 treats
It doesn't matter if it's easy as long as it's tasty...which this certainly looks to be :)

ReplyDeleteI'd nix the wine in favor of chocolate milk and kahlua with these!
ReplyDeleteHow about some port? Some folks like that with chocolate? Maybe a brandy?
ReplyDeleteI can't criticize any recipe with nutella. Phone it in all you like!
Easy recipes are good sometimes, especially NO BAKE recipes when it's HOT out. I like that you mixed in graham cracker crumbs. I'll have to try that sometime.
ReplyDeleteI am convinced you are the best baker to have ever lived.
ReplyDeleteSimple? Maybe. But graham crackers mixed into rice krispie treats? Genious.
ReplyDeleteYay for no bake treats! I hate heating up my house during the summer.
ReplyDeleteDelicious and easy and also delicious. However, I could not get 1/4 cup nutella and 3.5 oz of chocolate to spread over the whole 9X13 pan. I had to double both the chocolate and the nutella. Oh no. too much chocolate. (Can you hear the sarcasm?) Thank you!
