


Peanut Butter Brownie Cobbler
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons Hershey's Dark Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup hot milk
1/4 cup peanut butter + 10 additional teaspoons
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Topping
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons Hershey's Dark Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 1/4 cups hot water
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a medium bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, hot milk, 1/4 cup peanut butter, sugar and vanilla until combined. Whisk the dry ingredients into the wet until just combined. Place batter into an ungreased baking dish - something smaller like an 8x8. Dot the top with teaspoons of peanut butter.
For the topping, in a medium bowl, whisk together sugar, brown sugar and cocoa powder until well combined. Sprinkle topping over chocolate batter. Pour the hot water on top. Bake for 40 minutes, or until well risen and crisp.
Serves 6

DeleteI'm going to have to give this a try. I had found something similar (water on top step) from Paula Dean and it was a huge gross mess. Maybe this one will turn out better. Thanks. :) I'm always looking for new recipes.
ReplyDeleteAnd a French Pastry Experience sounds amazing. I have a West African cooking class I have purchased and now need to schedule. I don't think it matters how good of a cook you, you can always appreciate new things.
